It's Time to Book YOUR APATT Party! You host a party, take donations and then come to a bash to celebrate on November 8 -- here's how it works:
A Place at the Table (APATT) parties are the most diverse in Memphis. People from every walk of life join together to support the mission of Friends For Life β to help those affected by HIV/AIDS live well.
The concept is simple: People throughout the community host parties on or before November 8 to raise money and awareness for Friends For Life. The parties are unique but have one thing in common β guests are asked to make a donation at each party and to be as generous as possible. Parties range from formal seated dinners to casual cookouts, from brunch with your friends to a pizza party with your co-workers. Guests are asked to give what they can, not a required ticket price or donation amount. This flexibility allows the event to remain open to anyone and everyone who wishes to make a difference in our community. Donations range from $10 to $5,000 or more and can be given via cash, check or credit card. Hosts and donating guests are invited to a Finale Party for desserts, drinks and dancing to celebrate their successes. This year's Finale Party will be held at Minglewood Hall with the fabulous sounds of Memphis' own original party girls, The Bouffants and sponsored by our Friends at Kroger and Macy's!
If you would simply like to purchase tickets to the Finale, you may do so on Brown Paper Tickets at http://bpt.me/902628.
A Place At The Table is an annual fundraiser benefiting Friends For Life, the Mid-Southβs oldest social service organization specifically serving people affected by HIV/AIDS.
