MIDTOWN OPERA FESTIVAL

Opera Memphis’ fourth annual MIDTOWN OPERA FESTIVAL (April 1 -10 at Playhouse on the Square) will feature two intimate chamber operas, family events, and a late-night cabaret in the heart of Memphis! This year's operas are Peter Brook's THE TRAGEDY OF CARMEN and Maurice Ravel's L'HEURE ESPAGNOLE. We will also partner with New Ballet Ensemble for their production of SPRINGLOADED, Ignite Memphis for IGNITE ARTS NIGHT, and Rhodes College's production of Dave Brubeck's THE REAL AMBASSADORS. The full line-up of events includes a Le Jazz Hot!
